إن (إيوان كسرى أو طاق كسرى) (بالفارسية: ایوان خسرو) كما يعرف محلياً، هو الأثر الباقي من أحد قصور كسرى أنوشروان، يقع جنوب مدينة بغداد في موقع مدينة طيسفون الواقعة في منطقة المدائن التابعة إدارياً إلى محافظة بغداد، وتعرف محلياً ولدى العامة ب (سلمان باك) على اسم الصحابي الشهير سلمان الفارسي المدفون هناك. هذا الأثر يمثل أكبر قاعة لإيوان كسرى مسقوفة بالأجر على شكل عقد دون استخدام دعامات أو تسليح ما، آثار الإيوان المغطى لا زال محتفظاً بأبهته وكذلك الحائط المشقوق, وعلى جدرانها رسمت معركة أنطاكية التي دارت بين الفرس والروم. وصف الكثير من الشعراء الفارسيين إیوان کسری واستلهموا منه. الوصف الأکثر شهرة للخاقاني في القصیدة المسماة بإیوان المدائن. أیضاً بالعربیة قد وصف البحتري إيوان كسرى في سينيتة المشهورة: سينية البحتري. في عام 2018 انتج أول فيلم وثائقي عن طاق كسرى: من عجائب الهندسة المعمارية. وعرض الفلم في شهر شباط/فبراير 2018 في مبنى مركز الدراسات الشرقية والأفريقية، وهو مركز تابع لجامعة لندن. كما أجريت مقابلات مع باحثين متعمقين حول تاريخ وهندسة القوس من اسيا وأوروبا وأمريكا الشمالية.
Iwan al Madain
Iwan kesra or Taq kesra (Persian: Iwan Khosrau) as it is known locally, is the remnant of one of the palaces of kesra anushrawan, located south of the city of Baghdad on the site of the city of tisfun located in the area of madayn administratively belonging to the province of Baghdad, and is known locally as (Salman Pak) after the famous companion Salman Persian buried there. This monument represents the largest Hall of the Iwan of fractional roofed in the form of knots without the use of supports or armament, traces of the covered Iwan still retains its pomp as well as the slotted wall, and on its walls painted the Battle of Antioch, which took place between the Persians and the Romans. Many Persian poets described Iwan as a secret and were inspired by it. The most famous description of Khaqani is in the poem called Iwan al-Madain. Also in Arabic, Iwan kesra was described by Al-bukhtari in his famous poem: Al-bukhtari poem. In 2018, the first documentary film about knock a crumb: wonders of architecture was produced. The film was screened in February 2018 in the building of the Centre for Oriental and African Studies, a centre of the University of London. In-depth researchers on the history and architecture of the bow from Asia, Europe and North America were also interviewed.
